Prerequisites

• Ensure you have the necessary permissions to edit node groups (node pools).

Instructions

1. Log in to the Container Service Management Console and select the desired cluster from the left navigation bar.
2. On the Cluster page, click on the target cluster name, then navigate to Node Management > Node Pool in the left navigation bar.
3. On the Node Pool page, click Edit in the Action column for the target node pool.
4. On the Edit Node Pool page, modify the configuration of the node pool. Node pool optimization primarily focuses on the Instance Specifications and Auto Scaling configuration items:
5. Based on the recommended instance rules in the Adjust Node Pool dialog box, select the appropriate instance specification under Instance Specifications.
6. Adjust the Auto Scaling settings, including the recommended minimum and maximum number of nodes, as per the recommendations in the Adjust Node Pool dialog box. If cluster auto-scaling is not enabled, refer to Node Automatic Scaling for configuration instructions.
